Chaumet, Ondes et Merveilles
Chaumet appointed La Boîte to create the scenography for the launch of its new fine jewelry collection in Place Vendôme. Manifesto was the executive producer.
For the first time, Chaumet has created an entire collection of jewelry inspired by the sea. The pieces in the Ondes et Merveilles (Waves and Marvels) collection were presented in Chaumet’s private lounges at 12 Place Vendôme, with a sensory journey combining diverse works of art, shapes, materials, colors, scents and sounds.
The scenography was developed by La Boîte, a creative studio directed by Laurent Ghnassia in Tokyo, in partnership with Daniel Bergez: anamorphoses, realistic paintings and paintings featuring moving particles, undulating voile fabrics, inspired by the waves, multiple mirrors hanging above a beach bathed in sunlight and a cabinet of curiosities revealing the sea’s abundant treasures all encouraged clients to sit back and set sail.
Manifesto was responsible for the executive production of this scenography, bringing together and coordinating an ad hoc technical team to work on the design, installation, dismantling and re-use of the various elements.
