Manifesto Expo coordinates the presentation of the exhibition Fernand Léger !

La Venaria Reale, Torino, Italy
The 27th of September 2025 to the 1st of February 2026

With an international scope, the Fernand Léger ! exhibition brings together over 30 works by Fernand Léger, a pioneer of modern art, presented in dialogue with leading European and American avant-garde artists active from the 1960s to today.

The exhibition itinerary emphasizes the profound historical and artistic connections between Léger’s work and the French art scene of the 1960s—particularly with the Nouveau Réalisme movement, whose members appropriated everyday objects and the aesthetics of consumer society and urban life. This group included artists such as Arman, César, Raymond Hains, Yves Klein, Martial Raysse, Daniel Spoerri, and Niki de Saint Phalle.

The dialogue extends to other key international movements and artists, from American Pop Art—with figures such as Robert Indiana and May Wilson—to the groundbreaking creators of the 1970s and 1980s, including Gilbert & George in London and Keith Haring in New York.
