Cité de la Mode et du Design
On the banks of the Seine in the heart of Paris, Les Docks - Cité de la Mode et du Design, a subsidiary of the Groupe Caisse des Dépôts, is a unique cultural, events and entertainment venue situated in a 20,000m² building, renovated by Jakob+MacFarlane.
After a period of transition, the Cité reached a strategic crossroads in terms of its development in 2016. As part of wider reflection on the creation of a cultural department, La Caisse des Dépôts tasked Capgemini Consulting, Ylios and Manifesto with breathing new life into the Cité.
The project focused on turning a part of the Cité into a fashion campus, housing the recently merged fashion schools, the Institut Français de la Mode and the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
Manifesto oversaw the project management of the new site and was responsible for an architectural consultation which resulted in the appointment for architect Patrick Mauger.
