Stations Fluides by Io Burgard
Manifesto coordinated and produced the permanent installation by artist Io Burgard at the Gare de Villeurbanne tram station. Integrated into the street furniture, this work consists of the reproduction of original paintings created by the artist, printed onto glass

On February 14th, the Gare de Villeurbanne tramway station (Line T6) was adorned with new colors through an original work by Io Burgard evoking the Rize. Historically linked to the industrial and urban development of the area, this river now flows largely unseen beneath the feet of residents.
The enamel glass, designed as a contemporary stained-glass window, plays with light and the movement of the sun. Lines and colors give rhythm to the shelter walls and resonate with the flow of passengers, in a site marked by its railway past, now at the crossroads of several public transport lines.
The concept of fluidity runs through the entire work: fluidity of water, light, uses, and circulation. Io Burgard brings forth a discreet memory of the place, echoing the many passages that animate it today.
