On behalf of SPL Val de Seine Aménagement, Manifesto is leading a project for the reactivation of Boulogne-Billancourt’s industrial heritage, using a historical, social, urban and architectural approach.

First, Manifesto and ASR Culture are assisting the SPL with an analysis of the city’s industrial heritage, conducting interviews with people who have been part of Renault’s history, proposing a positioning strategy for the creation of an urban itinerary focusing on landscape and art, and forming a committee of experts.

In addition, Manifesto is carrying out a cultural programming mission for the Pavillon des Projets, as well as a communications strategy with the Risette collective and the Dezarts agency to promote this programming. The aim is to offer publicly accessible tools to understand the changes taking place in the Ile Seguin-Rives de Seine district.

Voyage en Industries (A Journey Through Industries), an urban soundwalk to discover Billancourt’s heritage

The urban soundwalk Voyage en Industries, inaugurated on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine 2023, invites residents and visitors to explore Billancourt’s industrial history and (re)discover the Trapèze, Ile Seguin and Pont de Sèvres districts, using a historical, social, urban and architectural approach.

The first highlight of the project to promote the culture and memory of the Île Seguin Rives de Seine district, led by the Pavillon des Projets, this itinerary will be enriched with new content, works of art and furnishings in public spaces. It will also include a rich program of events. Eventually, it will become part of the Île Seguin arts and culture hub and of the Vallée de la Culture.

Manifesto is coordinating the development and production of Voyage en Industries, the co-construction of the itinerary with associations linked to Renault’s past, the itinerary’s visual identity and the organization of a pre-launch event.
