From the 5th of Novembre 2025 to the 22nd of February 2026
Presenting an exceptional selection of paintings by the masters who defined the trajectory of Western art, this exhibition invites visitors on a journey through the great artistic movements — from the Renaissance and Baroque to Rococo and beyond. Among the featured artists are Bernardino Luini, Paolo Veronese, Hieronymus Bosch, Jacopo Tintoretto, El Greco, Peter Paul Rubens, Francisco de Zurbarán, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, Anthony van Dyck, Francesco Guardi, Bernardo Bellotto, and Simon Vouet.
Following its celebrated debut in Japan, the exhibition now arrives in Seoul, marking a historic occasion for the San Diego Museum of Art. For the first time in the museum’s century-long history, twenty-five major works from its renowned permanent collection will be showcased to audiences in Korea.
Curated by Dr. Michael Brown, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the depth, richness, and evolution of European painting over five centuries.
The exhibition is organized by the San Diego Museum of Art and Gaudium Associates, as part of a larger international tour that began in Japan. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Manifesto Expo, serving as the touring coordinator.
