How to make an artistic intervention in urban space a springboard for creating sustainable value?

Utilizing an innovative format which combines workshops, lectures and debates led by industry specialists, the two-day program explores the theme of art in urban space from a historical, technical, cultural and political perspective. Participants are equipped with conceptual and operational tools that can assist them in fostering artistic projects.

With the goal of changing representations and practices, this training course is hosted in an exceptional setting, the National Museum of Modern Art,  in a space specifically designed by the architect Leopold Banchini for the Pro School.

Objectives:

- To accompany a temporary or perennial artistic intervention project, integrated into the built environment and urban space.

- Introduce the subject of art in the urban and collective space, explore different typologies of artistic intervention, question the place of the users.

- Understand the design stages, scheduling and managing a successful project.

- Become familiar with the actors involved, the legal and financial frameworks for  artistic commissions.
